This place is wonderful. We have adopted both our cat and dog here and are currently taking dog training classes. They have great staff both for the adoption area and the trainers. I can't speak highly enough of them.
About a week ago my bf and I adopted our perfect dog Bilbo (AKA Ross), we had great experiences there - clean environment and animals were receiving lots of love from the staff! We feel very lucky to have Bilbo, he is the sweetest guy and very well-behaved despite being a 7-month-old baby! Thank you ARL-Boston for making this happen!!
My boyfriend Chandler and I adopted Lavina a couple of weeks ago! She's the cutest thing! We're adopting another puppy in a couple days as well! Staff is very nice!
I took my pup to the Spay Waggin this morning to get him neutered and I was so impressed with the staff and service. These people do it right. Super organized, knowledgeable, low stress, and convenient, not to mention affordable. (Thank you!) I would highly recommend taking your pet to this organization for these services. And donate to support this org if/when you can.. they are doing great things for animals - and their owners. :) They deserve 10 stars. 👍🏻
It was an absolute JOY to work with ARL Boston staff (notably Alex and Ollie) over the past few months as we sought to find the right furry friend to welcome into our lives. We cannot thank ARL staff enough for their kindness, humor, and the welcoming environment they created for us along our adoption journey. We're so happy to have a sweet calico as a part of our family! Thank you so much <3
They are awesome at the Boston Animal rescue League. They have the most wonderful and caring people you will ever have the privilege to meet. They are absolutely wonderful. They helped us find our girl. When we went out (from Worcester) there to see the dog they felt he wasn't a good match for us, and they were right. When we got back home, I sad so disappointed. We told them again what we were looking for, and they said they would keep their eyes open for us and said they would do their best to find us what we needed to complete our. When we get home that night they sent us a picture of our baby. Right away we knew she belonged home. We went back out the next day, spent some time with her, took her home that day and she hasn't been back since. Our forever girl found us. We've had our little girl for two years now. We couldn't love her anymore.
Thank you Boston ARL for completing our family,

I can't imagine an organization with as many caring individuals as those in the Animal Rescue League, I had adopted a sweet kitten. It is evident through their handling of the animal's care these are people who genuinely wish the best for them. I also appreciated the transparency from the staff, you can tell they genuinely care for the animals and want them to leave in the healthiest condition or leave with someone equipped to care for them.
Here is my kitty who's growing up to be a very goofy and adorable cat.
Amazing staff! When we got our cat 6 months ago they did a wonderful job of providing us with the necessary details and even gave us a scratching post, small bed, and toys as well. Great experience and would go back again when the time comes.
